The brief for Chai Stories was simple: create a casual space for friends to share tea, snacks, and conversation. We took this concept a step further, reimagining the cafe as a “Journey of Tea.” The space reflects how tea has travelled across the globe, transforming through various cultures and rituals.

Embracing a soulful Bohemian theme, the interior serves as a physical map of this journey. The centrepiece of our design is a curated collage of tea cups from diverse cultures, representing the different hands and traditions tea has passed through. It is a space designed not just for drinking, but for storytelling—where the environment is as rich and layered as the tea being served.
