Chor Bazaarr – Burnham

Chor Bazaarr | Slough, London
Inspired by the storied “Thief Markets” of Mumbai and Delhi, Chor Bazaarr is more than a restaurant—it is a curated journey through an antique-filled city market. Our design team was tasked with capturing the iconic “nothing matches, yet everything gels” aesthetic that defines these vernacular spaces.
By overlapping diverse cultural influences and sourcing artisanal bric-à-brac from across the globe, we created an eclectic ambiance that feels both historic and alive. The restaurant is divided into distinct themed environments: the royal elegance of the Shahi Baithak, the reflective grandeur of the Sheesh Mahal, and the rustic charm of the Khalasi ki Baithak. At the heart of it all sits the Jewel Bar, a stunning centrepiece crafted from Indian jewels and jewellery that has quickly become a landmark for locals and travellers alike.
